Witches' Friend Ointment

Unsurprisingly, a big part of our practice involves wildcrafting and wayfaring through hedges and wild places. We tend to acquire cuts, scrapes, scratches and thorn pricks on those sojourns through night-darkened woods, and so we keep this ointment in or wayfarer's kit alongside our tools of the Art.

Our Witches' Friend ointment is crafted from a base of comfrey-infused oil to help speed healing combined with essential oils of lavender, rosemary, tea tree and thyme to disinfect wounds and scrapes, and then thickened with beeswax from our hive. This salve is especially suited for abrasions, but also works well for small cuts and speeds the healing of bruises. Provided in 1 oz tins.
